A mission is what drives the company for a period of time, usually some months or years. Missions can change, but there is usually only one mission at a time.

On the Dashboard, there is an option on the left hand side called WORKBENCH. In the WORKBENCH there are a number of options including Company Directory and Onboarding. Performance is also an options. WORKBENCH Performance

On the Dashboard, there is an option on the left hand side called WORKBENCH. In the WORKBENCH there are a number of options including Company Directory and Onboarding. Performance is also an options. If you click on the WORKBENCH : Performance you will be able to access Performance Reviews. When the Performance Review has been build using SHaRE, then sent out to the relevant people based on the rules that are assigned to the review using Performance Deployment, the Performance Review is sent to the relevant Person and received in the WORKBENCH: Performance.

Creating and Editing a Mission

  1. After logging into the Subscribe-HR portal, select the Performance TAB.
  2. Select the Missions Folder.
  3. Select [Add New Record] or select the desired mission.
  4. Enter the Mission Name.
  5. Select from the drop down box whether this is the Active Mission.
  6. Select the Start Date.
  7. Select the End Date.
  8. Enter the Mission Statement, which describes the new Mission.
  9. Choose who to Send to.
  10. Choose wether to Enable Communications.
  11. Select the [Save] Button.

Mandatory fields are marked with a Red Asterisk, the record will not be saved unless mandatory fields are filled in first.


Fields

Available fields are:

Field Name

Description

Name Name of the Mission
Active Indicates if Mission is active or not. You can have only one active Mission at the time.
Starts on When the Mission starts
Ends on When the Mission ends.
Mission Statement Description of the Mission that can be sent to Employees.
Send To Chooses who the announcement is sent to.
Enable Communication If the mission is active, when the record is saved with this ticked it will send the email.

Mission Announcement/Strategy

Announcements are a way to communicate strategy or news. These announcements can be assigned to departments. Announcements are separate to Mission Announcements, and can be sent at different times if needed.

A Mission can have multiple Announcements or Strategies. Each of them contains:

  • One or multiple jobs that are linked to Skills, Behaviours, Values and Job Description
  • Each Job has a manager that can:
    • Populate Skills, Behaviours, Values and Job Description.
    • Mark it as complete once they have finished updating the job.
  • Once all jobs have been approved, an email will be sent to the Statement/Strategy Approver for approval.

Creating an Announcement

  1. After logging in to Subscribe-HR, go to the Performance TAB.
  2. Select the Mission folder.
  3. Select the desired Mission.
  4. Select the Announcement/Strategy SubFolder.
  5. Enter the Name.
  6. Select the Start Date.
  7. Select the End Date.
  8. Enter a Description for the announcement.
  9. Upload relevant Attachments.
  10. Choose an Approver from the drop down box.
  11. Select the [Save] button.

Now Jobs can be added to the announcement. The Jobs can be created from this page, where a link will be shown to edit the Job, or pre-existing Jobs can be added. Which Skills, Values, Goals and Behaviours that are assigned to added Jobs can also be edited here. If there are Skills which belong to the Job, these Skills can be automatically linked to the Employee in the Announcement if the relationship between the skill and the job already exists.
NOTE: The user will need to be the Job Approver in order to add the Job to the announcement.


Fields

Available fields are:

Description

Name Name of the Mission Statement/Strategy.
Starts on When the Mission Statement/Strategy starts.
Ends on When the Mission Statement/Strategy ends.
Description Description of the Mission Statement/Strategy.
Attachments Extra documents can be attached.
Jobs List of jobs that are part of this this Statement/Strategy and their Skills, Behaviours, Values and Job Description.

Activating An Announcement

Once the added Jobs are approved, the Announcement can be sent for approval. To do this, select the [Request Approval] button. This will go to the Approver selected from the drop down box.

When the Approver has approved the Announcement, it will be ready for activation. It can be activated from the Announcement/Strategy Subfolder by selecting the [Activate] button.

When the Announcement is activated, the Skills, Goals, Values, Behaviours, Job Description and Reviews are linked into the Performance Managed system. The Reviews will be activated based on the parameters that have been set up in the review.
