Creating a Mentor for an Employee

  1. After logging into the Subscribe-HR HCM Platform, select "PERFORMANCE" on the left hand side from the navigation area.
  2. Select the Employee folder.
  3. Select the desired employee.
  4. Select the Mentors SubFolder from the left side menu.
  5. Select the [New] button.
  6. Select the Mentor
    This can also be done through a Review. Using PDP and adding an Intervention: Mentor.
  7. Select the From Date from the date picker. This is Mandatory.
  8. Select the Mentor Reason. This is the reason for the Mentoring.
  9. Select the Until Date. If this is not known, leave blank.
  1. Select the Save button.

Mandatory fields are marked in bold, the record will not be saved unless mandatory fields are filled in first.

Safety fields explained

Field Name Description
First Aider Has the employee completed a first aid course
First Aid Renewal Date the first aid course needs to be renewed for the employee
Eye Test Date the employee completed an eye test
Work Permit Does the employee have a valid work permit
Work Permit Expiry Date Date the work permit will expire for this employee
ID Card Does the employee have an ID Card
ID Expiry Date Date the ID Card expires
Drivers Licence Does the employee have a drivers licence
Drivers Licence Number The drivers licence number
Health Check Date the employee completed a health check
Safety Review Date Date a safety review should be performed
Fire Warden Is the employee qualified to be a fire warden
Glasses Worn Does the employee wear glasses
Key Holder Does the employee have a Key to access work premise
Night Worker Is the employee a night worker
VDU User Does the employee use a Visual Display Unit for lengthy periods of time
