The Subscribe-HR e-recruitment Outlook Plugin allows users who have set-up the Plugin, to pass CV and Cover Letter from Outlook inbox's to the Subscribe-HR Recruitment module. If you right click on the e-mail then Select the Subscribe-HR link, there is an option to create an applicant in the recruitment module.  You will be asked to login using your user name and password, then to fill in First Name, Last Name, Email address. Then to select which Vacancy the user applied for. This will then link the Applicant to the Vacancy.

Manually Creating an Applicant Entry

  1. After logging into the Subscribe-HR portal, select the Recruitment TAB.
  2. Select the Applicant Folder and select the 'create' button.
  3. Enter details about the Applicant in the fields provided.
    Field labels marked as bold are mandatory and need to be filled in before selecting the 'Save' button.
    Please see the Applicant Fields Explained table below for more information on the fields.
  4. When completed select the 'Save' button.

Applicant Fields Explained

Field Name Description
Title This is the applicants title
First Name The applicants first name
Surname The applicants surname
Middle Name The applicants middle name
Known As The applicants alias
Gender The applicants gender
Other Names The applicants other name
Birth Date The applicants date of birth from the date picker
Mobile The applicants mobile number
Email The applicants email address
Drivers Licence The applicants drivers licence
Current Status The applicants currents status
Nationality The applicants nationality
Date Available The date the applicant can start work
Hours Available The hours the applicant can work
Salary Required The applicants salary requirements
Referred by The name of the referral source
Applicant Source Is the applicant an internal or external applicant

Core-Recruitment Outlook Plugin

The Subscribe-HR e-recruitment Outlook Plugin allows users who have set-up the Plugin, to pass CV and Cover Letter from Outlook inbox's to the Subscribe-HR Recruitment module. If you right click on the e-mail then Select the Subscribe-HR link, there is an option to create an applicant in the recruitment module. You will be asked to login using your user name and password, then to fill in First Name, Last Name, Email address. Then to select which Vacancy the user applied for. This will then link the Applicant to the Vacancy.

Steps to install new outlook plugin

You may obtain the Outlook by requesting it from Subscribe-HR.

  1. If required, uninstall any previous Subscribe-HR Outlook plugin.
  2. Close Outlook on your PC.
  3. To do this, Select the Control Panel on your PC.
  4. Select Programs and Features.
  5. Select uninstall Outlook plugin 2007.
  6. Close Outlook on your PC.
  7. Once you have the plugin from Subscribe-HR unzip the file Outlook plugin 2007.zip on your PC.
  8. Run the file OutlookConnector2007.vsto to start the install.
  9. Select the Install button.
  10. When the install finishes, select Close.
  11. Reboot your PC and Restart Outlook.

To use the Plugin

  1. In the Main email window of Outlook, right click an email to transfer.
  2. Select Subscribe-HR, which is located at the base of the right click options.

To create an applicant select New Applicant

  1. Fill out the fields required.
  2. Select ok to create the applicant.

To Create an Employee

  1. Select Save under Employee.
  2. Fill out the fields required.
  3. Select ok to create the employee record.

To create an applicant select New Applicant

  1. Fill out the fields required.
  2. Select ok to create the applicant.
