1. After logging into Subscribe-HR portal, select the Maintenance TAB<br>

Rating Scales

Ratings are the scale with which managers or employees can rate skills, goals, behaviours and values in a performance management canvas. Rating scale can be customised to use a range of different input widgets.

Creating a Rating

  1. Select the Performance option under the GENERAL area from the left hand navigation.
  2. Select the Rating Scales folder.
  3. Click "+Create New" button.
  4. Fill in the fields as defined below.
  5. Select the [Save] button.

Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk, the record will not be saved unless mandatory fields are filled in first.

Rating Fields / Options Explained

Field Name Description
Rating Name The name of the rating
Rating Type Currently, the only supported rating type is numeric. Additional types may be added in the future.
Display Type Selects the way the rating is displayed to the user e.g. slider, star rating or drop down field.
Min Value Lowest number on the scale.
Max Value Highest number on the scale.
Rating Step Space between numbers on the scale e.g 1 or 0.5.
Label Step (Display Type = Slider) Space between labels on the scale e.g. 1.
Tick Placement (Display Type = Slider) Specifies how ticks should be drawn on the slider e.g. top, bottom etc.
