Discipline of an Employee

Discipline is an area where any Disciplinary action has been taken against the employee can be recorded. This allows for reporting and features reminders for any follow ups that maybe required.

Creating a Discipline Record

  1. After logging into the Subscribe-HR HCM Platform, select "HUMAN RESOURCES" on the left hand side from the navigation area.
  2. Select the Employee folder.
  3. Select the desired employee.
  4. Select the Discipline sub-folder from the left side menu.
  5. Select the [Add New Record] button.
  6. Select the Discipline Date.
    This is the date that the Disciplinary action was carried out.
  7. Select the Discipline Type.
    This is the type of disciplinary action carried out.
  8. Select the Follow Up Date.
    This is the date that you wish to review any progress. Reminders can be set based on this date.
  9. Enter the Action that should be taken.
  10. Enter any Comments.
  11. Select the Save button.

Mandatory fields are marked in bold, the record will not be saved unless mandatory fields are filled in first.
Upon review of the disciplinary action, the Cleared Date can be filled in.

Setting up a Disciplinary action reminder

  1. After logging into the Subscribe-HR portal, select the Development TAB
  2. Select the Objects folder.
  3. Select the Employee Discipline Object.
  4. Select the Workflow Tasks sub-folder
  5. Select the Employee Discipline Follow Up Workflow
  6. Change Active to Yes.
  7. From the Send Reminder section select
    Send To Location Manager Yes/No
    Send to Employee Manager Yes/No
  8. Select the users you want to receive the reminder from the Send To Users
  9. Select the Save button.
