A Leave Request workflow will enable a powerful feature in Subscribe-HR.

Example: An Employee submits a Leave Request, this could trigger a workflow to notify the manager and list this in the Tasks & Reminders dashlet.<br>When a manager approves or denies the request for leave this triggers another workflow to notify the employee of the outcome of the leave request.
When an Employee submits a Leave Request the relevant person (presumably a manager of the Employee) is notified via a workflow email and the request will appear in the person(s) My Team's Tasks & Reminders panel on the Dashboard. Managers can then approve the Leave Request, and the Employee can see this approval and cancel this request at anytime before the event occurs.

Workflows Explained

You are probably wondering what workflows do and how they can help automate HR processes.

Workflows are a sequence of connected steps that are triggered when a defined criteria is met.
Example: An Employee submits a Leave Request, this could trigger a workflow to notify the manager and list this in the Tasks & Reminders dashlet.
When a manager approves or denies the request for leave this triggers another workflow to notify the employee of the outcome of the leave request.
