The Company Directory app allows users with access to find the contact details of Employees within the organisation.

The Company Directory app allows users with access to find the contact details of Employees within the organisation. It can be found on the Left Menu, under '''WORKBENCH'''. Please note that there are no security permission assign to the "Company Directory" because its a tool used for contacting people. The Company Directory does not contain any sensitive information. Each Information box contains: First Name, Surname, (Job:) Job, (Loc): Location, (Dep:) Department, (E;) E-mail, (PH:) Phone (On the Employee Masterfile - Direct Line), (Ext:) Extension, (Status) Available/Unavailable. Available and Unavailable will tell you is someone is away/absence.

# After logging in, select the <b>Settings</b> link in the top right of the screen.

To search the App by name, type the name into the Search bar at the top. The <b>Reset All</b> button will clear the search.
 
 
The Directory can also be searched by <b>Office</b>. Select the <b>Office</b> you wish to filter by. If there are more <b>Offices</b> than what is visible, the <b>Show More</b> button will be available, and will expand the list to all <b>Offices</b>.

WORKBENCH: Company Directory

The Company Directory app allows users with access to find the contact details of Employees within the organisation. It can be found on the Left Menu, under WORKBENCH. Please note that there are no security permission assign to the "Company Directory" because its a tool used for contacting people. The Company Directory does not contain any sensitive information. Each Information box contains: First Name, Surname, (Job:) Job, (Loc): Location, (Dep:) Department, (E;) E-mail, (PH:) Phone (On the Employee Masterfile - Direct Line), (Ext:) Extension, (Status) Available/Unavailable. Available and Unavailable will tell you is someone is away/absence.

NOTE: If the person is "Known As", meaning if this field is populated in the Employee Masterfile record, this will appear in the Company Directory as their First Name.

Activating the App

To activate the Company Directory:

  1. After logging in, select the Settings link in the top right of the screen under your name.
  2. Select "Details" under General.
  3. Select the Checkbox for enable "Company Directory" if you wish to switch this on.
  4. Press the [Save] Button.

Searching the Company Directory

  1. To search by name, type the name into the Search bar at the top. The Refresh Icon will clear the search. Select the letters and the search option will return the relevant people based on first name and surname match.
  2. If you are using your PC or Laptop, the filter options will be available on the right hand side of the screen. The Directory can be searched by Office and Department. Select the Office you wish to filter by. If there are more Offices and Departments than what is visible, the Show More button will be available, and will expand the list to all.
  3. If you are using a mobile phone. The Company Directory will respond accordingly. The search options will appear at the top of the screen.
