Plan Items
An Action plan is a development path for an Employee's personal growth. This Dashboard tool can be used to record that plan, which can be created by a System Administrator user, the Manager, or by an Employee who has been given access permissions. Action Plans can also be entered into the Employees Plan Items Subfolder.
Development Plan Widget
This widget is accessible on the Performance dashboard, and provides an easy way to create and track Action Plans.
Widget Fields Explained
Field Name |
Description |
Employee Name | Name of the Employee to assign the Plan to. Uses search drop-down. |
Development Plan Name | Allows the creator to name the Development Plan for quick identification. |
Plan Item Reason | Records the reason for the creation of the Action Plan. Available options are:*Skill Gaps Training *Personal Development Plan(PDP) *Review |
Performance Canvas | Select a canvas to include the action plan in. |
Plan Item Type | Select the Type of Action Plan. The options are:
*Compliance *Career Path |
Target Finish Date | Records when the Action Plan should be completed. |
Performance Employee Development Plan
This object is accessible from Performance Employee. Each Action Plan record is recorded against the employee here.
Development Plan Fields Explained

Development Plan Status | Whether this Action Plan is currently Active. |
Development Plan Name | Allows the creator to name the Action Plan for quick identification. |
Development Plan Type | Select the Type of Action Plan. The options are:

Start Date | The start date of the action plan. |
Plan Item Reason | Records the reason for the creation of the Plan Item. Available options are;*Skill Gaps Training *Personal Development Plan(PDP) *Review |
Type Mentor | |
Link Mentor | Links the mentor to the action plan. |
Target Finish Date | Records when the Action Plan should be completed. |
Actual Completion Date | Records when the Action Plan was completed. |
