Advanced Reports & Metrics
The Advanced Reports & Metrics dashboard will display selected reporting output such as graphs and numbers reports. You can have up to 12 reports on the dashboard and these can either be a
- Line chart
- Bar chart
- Vertical Bar Chart
- Pie chart
- Donut chart
- Numbers report
If not used, they will sit there as an empty reporting widget with a large "+" icon. Clicking this will allow you to select the reporting graph you'd like to include.
Filtering Dynamic Reports
Non-numbers report filters are dynamic and will depend on the report that you set up.
Take for example a line graph based off a report of hires broken down by department. The X-axis displays the years and the Y-axis displays the number of employees. There are different colour lines representing the varied departments.
- By clicking the filter button located on the top right of the widget, a light box will appear allowing you to apply filters.
- You will be able to filter down the years and/or specify particular departments to look at.
- Click "Confirm" to save down the filters. The light box will close and the filters you set will be reflected onto the graph
