Performance: Deployment

The Performance Deployment tool is a step-by-step process that streamlines and simplifies review deployment for any number of recipients. (Non Team Dashboard Users).

Beginning a Deployment

To start the deployment process, we'll need to access the Deployment Tool. This can be done by:

  1. After logging in to Subscribe-HR, select Performance from the Workbench on the Left.
  2. Select the Deploy New Button.
  3. Complete the following steps.

1. Start

This page starts the deployment.

You will need to Start With:

  1. A New Deployment. Enter a name for the Deployment and press the "Next" button.
  2. An Existing Deployment. Selecting a previous deployment and press the "Next" Button.


2. Canvas

This page selects what canvas will be used, and who the canvas will be sent to.

Set the options for the following Canvas settings:

  1. Survey Type. A drop down that includes all survey types that can be sent.
  2. Canvas to Deploy. Once the Survey type has been chosen, this drop down will appear with all Surveys of that type. Select the canvas you wish to deploy.
  3. Deploy to Which Type of Target. Multi-select, choosing the type of recipient each type is select. Each option reveals the required field.
  4. Deploy Canvas Based On. Alternative to previous option. Multi-Select, choosing groups of people to select based on Job information. Each option reveals the required field.

The following fields are dependent on which options were previously selected:

  • Deploy Canvas to Employees. Appears when Employees is selected. Provides a dropdown to select the Employee records to send the canvas to. Checkbox available to select All Employees.
  • Deploy Canvas to Users. Appears when Users is selected. Provides a dropdown to select the User Account to send the canvas to.
  • Deploy Canvas to Groups. Appears when Groups is selected. Provides a dropdown to select all Users that have the selected Permission Group.
  • Deploy Canvas to External. Appears when External is selected.
  • Deploy Canvas Based on Jobs. Appears when Jobs is selected. Provides a dropdown to send to all employees who hold the selected Jobs.
  • Deploy Canvas based on Departments. Appears when Departments is selected. Provides a dropdown to send to all Employees in the selected Department.
  • Deploy Canvas Based on Divisions. Appears when Divisions is selected. Provides a dropdown to send to all Employees in the selected Divisions.
  • Deploy Canvas based on Business Areas. Appears when Business Areas is selected. Provides a dropdown to send to all Employee in the selected Business Areas.

Once the recipients have been selected, the following send options will need to be determined:

  1. When to Deploy. A dropdown to choose whether to send immediately or to schedule a date.
  2. Deploy On. Appears if choose date is selected. Provides a datepicker to choose the date the canvas is to be sent.
  3. Repeat. A dropdown to choose whether the canvas deployment is never repeated, or repeated on a regular basis.
  4. Every. Appears if Interval is chosen for repeat. Provides a field to input the amount of months that is the interval between regular deployments.


3. Action Plans

This page allows you to select which Action Plans will be included in the canvas. This step can be skipped.

The following options can be selected:

  1. Action Plans To Include. Provides a dropdown to select what kind of range to include. Options are All, With Target Dates in Last Month/s, and With Target Date between Start and End Dates.
  2. Last. Appears if With Target Date in the Last Month/s is selected. Choose the amount of months into the past required.
  3. Start Date. Appears if With Target Date between Start and End Dates. Selects the first date of the range with a datepicker.
  4. End Date. Appears after the Start Date has been selected. Selects the last date of the range with a datepicker.
  5. Action Plans Status. Selects the allowed status of included Action Plans.


4. Goals

This page allows you to select which Goals will be included in the canvas. This step can be skipped.

The following options can be selected:

  1. Goals To Include. Provides a dropdown to select what kind of range to include. Options are All, With Target Dates in Last Month/s, and With Target Date between Start and End Dates.
  2. Last. Appears if With Target Date in the Last Month/s is selected. Choose the amount of months into the past required.
  3. Start Date. Appears if With Target Date between Start and End Dates. Selects the first date of the range with a datepicker.
  4. End Date. Appears after the Start Date has been selected. Selects the last date of the range with a datepicker.
  5. Goals Status. Selects the allowed status of included Goals.


5. Skills

This page allows you to select which Skills will be included in the canvas. This step can be skipped.

The following options can be selected:

  1. Skills To Include. Provides a dropdown to select what kind of range to include. Options are All, Defined in Previous Review, With Create Dates in Last Month/s, and With Create Date between Start and End Dates.
  2. Review Type. Appears if Defined in Previous Review is selected. Provides a dropdown to select the type of the previous review.
  3. Last. Appears if With Target Date in the Last Month/s is selected. Choose the amount of months into the past required.
  4. Start Date. Appears if With Target Date between Start and End Dates. Selects the first date of the range with a datepicker.
  5. End Date. Appears after the Start Date has been selected. Selects the last date of the range with a datepicker.
  6. Skills Status. Selects the allowed status of included Skills.


6. Behaviours

This page allows you to select which Behaviours will be included in the canvas. This step can be skipped.

The following options can be selected:

  1. Behaviours To Include. Provides a dropdown to select what kind of range to include. Options are All, Defined in Previous Review, With Create Dates in Last Month/s, and With Create Date between Start and End Dates.
  2. Review Type. Appears if Defined in Previous Review is selected. Provides a dropdown to select the type of the previous review.
  3. Last. Appears if With Target Date in the Last Month/s is selected. Choose the amount of months into the past required.
  4. Start Date. Appears if With Target Date between Start and End Dates. Selects the first date of the range with a datepicker.
  5. End Date. Appears after the Start Date has been selected. Selects the last date of the range with a datepicker.
  6. Behaviours Status. Selects the allowed status of included Skills.


7. Values

This page allows you to include Values into the review. This step can be skipped.

The following option can be selected.

  1. Include Values. Determines whether Values are included.


8. Review and Deploy

This page is the final summary page. The review can be deployed from here.

All options selected int he previous steps are displayed here for review. The following Actions are available:

  1. Another. Checking this will take the user to the beginning of a new deployment once the Deploy button has been selected.
  2. Deploy. Selecting this button will deploy the canvas based on the settings chosen during the Deployment Process.
