Performance

Performance Reviews are a systematic and periodic process that assesses an individual employee’s job performance and productivity in relation to certain pre-established criteria and organisational objectives.

Performance Process Summary

  1. Employees can define their own goals.
  2. Managers define the skills of their team members.
  3. Employees Assess themselves if a Dual Process is being used.
  4. Managers Assess Employees if a Manager Assessment is being used.
  5. Both Employees and Managers assess the Employee, then average is calculated based on total of all the scores.

Note: Please speak to your account manager about the workflow processing regarding Employee Assessment and Manager Assessment of their team members.

New Performance

Rating Type

The administrator can set rating types from here with default styles: Thumb, Star, Speech Bubble and circle.

Rating Color Active

Color of the rating given can be set here.

Rating Color Inactive

Color of the inactive rating can be set here.

Rating drop downs

The administrator can select the features to appear during a user provides the rating.

Feedback poster can create Skill or Behavior when posting a feedback

With the settings set to yes, feedback poster can create a new skill or behavior.

Link Feedback skill to Employee Skill

This settings set Employee skill to be displayed as feedback skill.

Allow manager to set a skill as Compliant

When a skill is selected, the manager can tick a box to set the skill as a compliant skill.

Old Performance

Performance Settings allows you to configure the type of performance review process you conduct. You can Select from: Managers Only and Dual Process (Managers & Employees). The Performance Review Process can Manage: Skills, Goals, Values and Development Plan.
Please note, if a Dual Processes is being used, a Performance Tab will appear in the users Dashboard.

Performance Review Type

Select from drop down one of the following options:

  • Managers Only - means that the Manger will be sent Notifications about the Performance Review of their Team Members. No employee involvement takes place.
  • Dual Process (Managers & Employees) - means that Employees will assess themselves, Managers will then be notified after the assessment is finished so that they can assess their team member, and once the processes is complete, an average of the scores will be calculated.

Annual Review Settings

Select from the check boxes any of the following areas to assess upon in the Annual Review:

  • Skills
  • Goals
  • Values
  • Development Plan

Mid-Year Review Settings

Select from the check boxes any of the following areas to assess upon in the Mid-Year Review:

  • Skills
  • Goals
  • Values
  • Development Plan

Quarterly Review Settings

Select from the check boxes any of the following areas to assess upon in the Quarterly Review:

  • Skills
  • Goals
  • Values
  • Development Plan

Employees Can Rate Their Skills

Select this if you would like the employee to be able to rate their skills in a Dual Assessment.

Employees Can Define Their Goals

Select this if you would like the employee to be able to define goals. These goals can be rated by the employee in the proceeding part of the assessment.

Employees Can Rate Their Goals

This process forms part of the Dual Assessment. The goals are rated based on either the manager defining them or the employee defining them as part of the previous step.

Employees Can Rate Company Values

Allow the Employee to rate their performance against Company Values as part of the Dual Assessment.

Disable Defined Skills Selector

Select if you want to Disable Defined Skills Selector.

Disable Defined Goals Selector

Select if you want to Disable Defined Skills Selector.

Employees Can Update Comments Before Review End Date

Select if Employees Can Update Comments Before Review End Date.

Performance Review Completion Window

Performance Review Completion Window can be set to either 7 Days or 14 Days. This means that each stage of the review process should be completed within 7 Days or 14 Days. Workflow e-mails will be triggered based on these settings.
