Overview of Steps Involved

Performing employee reviews can be beneficial. The process is quite simple.

  • Perform Performance Review
  • Provide ratings on KPI's
  • If Skill Gaps are identified from the performance review then the skill is then linked to the Performance Review.
  • Notes are then made on how to best proceed in closing this gap.

Creating a Performance Review

  1. After logging into the Subscribe-HR portal, select the Human Resources TAB.
  2. Select the Employee folder.
  3. Select the desired employee from the list.
  4. Select the Performance sub-folder from the left side menu.
  5. Select the [Add New Record] button.
  6. Fill in the fields.
  7. Select the Save button.

Mandatory fields are marked in bold, the record will not be saved unless mandatory fields are filled in first.

You should notice after you save the Performance Record that you will have a KPI's, Development and a Summary TAB.

Performance fields explained

Field Name Description
Start Date Period Select the Start Date Period that the Performance Review begins
Finish Date Period Select the Finish Date Period that the Performance Review finishes.
Review Date Select the Review Date that the Performance Review will be performed.
Review Type Select the Review Type. This is usually something like Annual Review.
Reviewed By Enter the name of the person performing the review in the Reviewed By field.
Next Review Select the Next Review Date.
Performance Summary Select the Performance Summary rating that best matches.
Performance Review Select the Productivity rating that best matches.
Productivity Rating Select the Productivity rating that best matches.
Achievements Enter any Achievements
Comments Enter any Comments


KPI Performance

The KPI TAB allows you to provide a score against a KPI Type and KPI Sub Type for the employee.

  1. Select the Employee Folder.
  2. Select the Performance Sub folder left side menu.
  3. Select the Performance record from the list.
  4. Select the KPI's TAB.
  5. Select the KPI Type.
  6. Select the KPI Sub Type.
  7. Select the Rating.
    Do this for all relevant KPI's.
  8. Select the Save button.


Development

The Development TAB allows you to note any identified Learning Goals, Qualifications, Certificates and Learning activities that may improve the performance.

  1. Select the Employee Folder.
  2. Select the desired Employee.
  3. Select the Performance Sub folder.
  4. Select the Performance record from the list
  5. Select the Development TAB.
  6. Fill in the fields.
  7. Select the Save button.


Identified Skills GAPS. What Next?

If skills gaps have been identified these and the Intervention can be recorded.

  1. Select the Employee Folder.
  2. Select the desired Employee.
  3. Select the Skills sub folder from the left side menu.
  4. Select the [Add New Record] button.
  5. Provide the Assessment Date.
  6. Select the Skill that the gap has been identified in.
  7. Select whether the employee is Compliant with the Skill.
    Select No if the employee does have a gap
    Select Yes if the Employee is Compliant with the skill.
  8. Select the Job this skill is required for
  9. Enter the name of the person who is assessing the Skills.
  10. Select the role the Assessor has.
  11. Enter any comments
  12. Select the Reason for the assessment.
  13. Select the Performance Review you wish to link this to.
    By selecting a Performance review this enables you to identify when and how the skill gap was identified and monitor what is being done about this to help improve performance.
  14. Select the Intervention that will be taken.
  15. Select the Save button.
