Creating new vacancies and publishing them to Job Notice Boards
When a user creates a new vacancy this can be published through a number of Job Notice Boards.
We currently support publishing to SEEK.com.au, Adzuna, CareerOne.com.au, Indeed and Linkedin.
Fee's and charges may apply to publish to these Job Notice Boards.
When publishing to a Jobs Notice Board such as SEEK or Adzuna then your vacancy is automatically published on the Online Portal for you.
Creating a vacancy
- After logging into the Subscribe-HR portal, select the Recruitment TAB.
- Select the Vacancies Folder and select the 'create' button.
- Enter details about the Vacancy in the fields provided.
Field labels marked as bold are mandatory and need to be filled in before selecting the 'Save' button.
Please see the Vacancy Fields Explained table below for more information on the fields. - When completed select the 'Save' button.
- After saving the vacancy you should notice an Activate button. You must activate this vacancy before you can publish this vacancy to the Online Portal.
Vacancy Fields Explained
| Field Name | Description |
| Key Vacancy | Is the vacancy a key hire position. |
| Manager Satisfaction | Is the manager satisfied with the candidate hired (this is usually filled out at a review stage) |
| Reference Number | If there is a vacancy reference number for this job, enter this here. |
| Recruitment Workflow | Assigning a workflow will assist in
stepping applicants through the recruitment process. The steps in the recruitment process can be defined by modifying an existing or creating a new workflow. |
| Positions Open | The number of vacancies to be filled. |
| Vacancy Name | Short description of the vacancy |
| Campaign | You can define a campaign and then record the
vacancy against the campaign, which will in turn allow you to measure the effectiveness of the campaign. |
| Hiring Manager | The person in charge of hiring. This is a list of managers and recruiters. |
| Close Date | Date no more applications are accepted. |
| Interviews Commencing | Date that interviews start |
| Short List Date | Target date that the hiring manager wishes to have a short listing of applicants |
| Target Date | Target date to have the applicant recruited |
| Date Filled | Date in which the vacancy has been filled |
| Location | Location from where the vacancy role will be performed |
| Department | Department that this vacancy is performed for |
| Division | Division that this vacancy is performed for |
| Business Area | Business Area that this vacancy is performed for |
| Cost Centre 1 | Name of the cost centre |
| Cost Centre 2 | Name of the cost centre |
| Work Type | The type of work such as Full time, Part time, Casual |
| Hours | Required hours to be worked per working week |
| Pay Structure | How the pay is calculated, Salary, Hourly, Commision |
| Salary Min | The starting salary range for this vacancy |
| Salary Max | The maximum salary range for this vacancy |
| OTE | On Target Earnings Base |
| Internal Hire | If the vacancy is filled by an existing employee |

| Selling Point 1 | Advertisements will have a BULLET POINT short description |

LinkedIn Job Wrapping
If you are interested in the LinkedIn Job Wrapping Service, please contact LinkedIn. Let them know that you would like for Subscribe-HR Job Board Adds to be scrapped by them. Scrapping means that LinkedIn will scan your Job Board information and pulling three main fields into LinkedIn Jobs so that LinkedIn users can Apply for these Jobs, through Subscribe-HR e.g. When the Applicant Clicks on Apply in LinkedIn they will be taken to the relevant Job on the Subscribe-HR Job Board. In conjunction with LinkedIn, Subscribe-HR will set-up parameters, so that only relevant Jobs will feed into LinkedIn. Subscribe-HR can also work with LinkedIn, to utilise tracking codes so that you can report in Subscribe-HR that an Applicant has come from LinkedIn. Please note: LinkedIn may charge an annual fee for the Job Wrapping Service. Please contact LinkedIn about these costs. Subscribe-HR does not receive any commission from this charge and has no input into setting fees for LinkedIn services.
Publishing to SEEK.com.au
- After the Vacancy has been created and activated select the Publications sub-folder.
- If you see entries in the Publications table then this vacancy has already been published.
- Select the Create button.
- Select the Publication Type<b> as <b>SEEK.com.au
- Select the From Date from the calendar.
The From Date will determine when the vacancy is published on SEEK.com.au - Select the SEEK Standard Ad Template from the drop down.
The Standard Template designs are available from the SEEK website. - Select the SEEK Zone from the drop down.
The SEEK Zone allows posting of vacancies into the General SEEK area or for executive vacancies select SEEK Executive. - Select the SEEK Classification from the drop down.
This is the vacancy category. - Select the SEEK Sub-Classification from the drop down.
This is the vacancy subcategory and is dependent on the Classification selected. - Select the SEEK Skills that apply to this vacancy.
You can select multiple items from the SEEK Skills by holding down the CTRL key and selecting a skill. - Select the SEEK Location.
This is the location of where the vacancy exists. - Select the SEEK Location Area.
This is the state area where the vacancy exists and is dependent on the Location. - Select the SEEK Work Type.
This is whether the vacancy is Full Time, Part Time, Contract/Temp, Casual/Vacation type work. - Select the Add Residents Only Message if you wish for the vacancy to appear on SEEK with a note advising that the vacancy is only available for residents of this country.
- Select the Pay Structure from the drop down.
- Select the Salary Min from the drop down if known.
This is the starting salary for this vacancy.
This value is not visible on SEEK however is used when searching for vacancies within a salary range. - Select the Salary Max from the drop down if known.
This is the highest salary available for this vacancy.
This value is not visible on SEEK however is used when searching for vacancies within a salary range. - Enter the salary into the Visible Salary if applicable.
- Enter the Search Results Title.
- Enter a short description of the vacancy into the Short Description area.
- Enter the Job Title.
This is the title of your vacancy advertisement.
- Select the Make Your Ad Stand Out option if you wish to utilise SEEK priority feature.
- Select the Save button.
By clicking save you are publishing this vacancy on SEEK.
Publishing to Adzuna
- After the Vacancy has been created and activated select the Publications sub-folder.
- If you see entries in the Publications table then this vacancy has already been published.
- Select the Create button.
- Select the Publication Type<b> as <b>Adzuna.com.au/b>
- Select the <b>From Date from the calendar.
The From Date will determine when the vacancy is published on Adzuna - Select the Adzuna sector from the drop down.
This is the main category for this vacancy. - Select the Adzuna Sub-Sector from the drop down.
This is the sub category for the vacancy. - Select the Priority List In This Sector option
If you wish for this vacancy to be priority listed. (This may incur additional cost) - Select the Recruitment Plus option
If you wish to access additional features for this vacancy. - Select the Country from the drop down where this vacancy is located in.
- Select the State from the drop down where this vacancy is located in.
- Select the Adzuna Work Type from the drop down.
This is whether the vacancy is Full Time, Part Time, Contract, Casual, Temporary. - Select the Add Residents Only Message if you wish for the vacancy to appear on Adzuna with a note advising that the vacancy is only available for residents of this country.
- Select the Pay Structure from the drop down.
- Select the Salary Min from the drop down if known.
This is the starting salary for this vacancy.
This value is not visble on Adzuna however is used when searching for vacancies within a salary range. - Select the Salary Max from the drop down if known.

- Enter the Search Results Title.
- Enter a short description of the vacancy into the Short Description area.
- Enter the Job Title.

- Enter bullet point text into the Bullet Point 1 text box.
If Applicable. - Enter bullet point text into the Bullet Point 2 text box.
If Applicable. - Enter bullet point text into the Bullet Point 3 text box.
If Applicable. - Select the Enhanced Listing check box
If you wish to access enhanced listing features from Adzuna. - Select the Save button.
By clicking save you are publishing this vacancy on Adzuna.
Publishing to SixFigures.com.au
- After the Vacancy has been created and activated select the Publications sub-folder.
- If you see entries in the Publications table then this vacancy has already been published.
- Select the Create button.
- Select the Publication Type<b> as <b>SixFigures.com.au
- Select the From Date from the calendar.
The From Date will determine when the vacancy is published on SixFigures.com.au - Select the Zone from the drop down.
The Zone allows posting of vacancies into the General area or for executive vacancies select Executive. - Select the Classification from the drop down.
This is the vacancy category. - Select the Sub-Classification from the drop down.
This is the vacancy subcategory and is dependent on the Classification selected. - Select the Skills that apply to this vacancy.
The Skills field only appears based on particular selected Classification's.

The Specialisation drop down only appears on particular selected Classification's. - Select the Location.
This is the location of where the vacancy exists. - Select the Location Area.
This is the area where the vacancy exists and is dependent on the Location. - Select the Work Type.
This is whether the vacancy is Full Time, Part Time, Contract/Temp, Casual/Vacation type work. - Select the Add Residents Only Message if you wish for the vacancy to appear on SixFigures with a note advising that the vacancy is only available for residents of this country.
- Select the Pay Structure from the drop down.

- Enter the Job Title.
